It’s a good news for all the Xbox One fans and owners out there because all are about to get a similar service just like Netflix for games on a monthly subscription basis. Microsoft is calling the service Xbox Game Pass, the monthly price for the subscription would be $9.99 and will offer 112 games and even more to download and play as the service fully kicks in the future.
The gaming experience would just be like a normal copy, which gamer can purchase from a retail store. The official Xbox Game Pass launch is today on June 1st.
Game Pass seems to be modeled on Netflix and the Gaming title available are no different to current 112 games playable on subscription.
The main title includes the likes of Halo 5, Devil May Cry or Mad Max.
Among classic games there are Mega Man, BioShock or Borderlands.
It’s a wide range of Xbox One games and also backward compatible Xbox 360 games. The speculations are that Microsoft will be going to refresh the library on regular basis.
Having all these awesome games online has its own downfall as well, meaning whenever the library is refreshed it will automatically result in many of the titles being discounted from the Game Pass service.
That doesn’t mean that it will be get instantly removed from the Game Pass service, every game will hopefully take a while before it gets taken down.
Having all the games copies in digital format has its own disadvantages. Downloading games regularly to your Xbox One can result in filling the space too quickly.
It is recommended to keep an eye on your space, remove the unnecessary games or outdated ones to enjoy the new service.
Make sure to free off some time and space when the service comes online today on June 1st. What a gamer could have dreamed of, all the new titles available to them for just $9.99.
