Definitely a sad news for Nicole Scherzinger fans. Fans and the ones coming for auditions will be really taken aback by this news.
But yes, the hot looking music superstar will miss the X Factor auditions due to her family illness. She is forced to return to the US because of this.
The singer is believed to be devastated after she came to know that her aunt was seriously ill and had to be admitted to the hospital.
Nicole’s return to the music reality show, X Factor, has not been an easy ride for her. She had been facing problems in the past too. She was almost replaced by Mariah Carey as a judge for the show and now she is all set to miss the opening auditions of the ITV show.
Nicole will be flying to the US at the start of next month to be with her ill aunt.
This means that she singing sensation, who is a mentor to James Arthur (who won the ninth season of X Factor in 2012), will be missing the first set of filming commencing in June this year.
A credible source said, “Nicole is incredibly close with her auntie, she’s one of her closest friends and role models.
“She is devastated to see what her auntie is going through. While Nicole wants to make sure she gives X Factor her full attention, of course she has to be with her family.
“She wants to make sure she is there to support her auntie so will be back in the US in upcoming weeks — and it looks likely to clash with the first auditions.
“It’s an incredibly difficult time for Nic but the X Factor will provide her with a good distraction when she returns.”
The show has temporarily replaced Nicole Scherzinger with Mel B. She will be attending the auditions while Nicole is away.
A sad news indeed for the fans but this is only a temporary setback. Hope her aunt recovers quickly and she sets the X Factor’s stage on fire this season.
