Ubisoft’s Far Cry franchise is unique master class open world game series. If you’re of those Far Cry fans, get ready to because Ubisoft just released a bunch of cool information about the upcoming Far Cry 5.
Ubisoft has set its eye on the game launch date, which is February 27, 2018. The game is set at fictional Hope County, Montana. The story line is about players against extremist religious group.
The Untold Story
The game story of Far Cry 5 takes place in county Montana. In game you play as town Sheriff’s deputy, who arrives in Hope Country and upon his arrival his discovered that the whole town has been taken over by a doomsday cult. And being as deputy your duty is to help the locals into the Resistance in order for them to take out the cult.
The Bad Guy
If we look back to Far Cry 3 and Far Cry 4, they both had some of the most violent villains. As for as Far Cry 5 is concern so it has followed that trend with the Father, Joseph Seed the doomsday cult being the main villain of the game. No official details has been announced yet about his character, but as the history shows he will be character to remember.
No official details has been released by Ubisoft of how the game is going to work, However it doesn’t sound like a huge surprise to us as previous Far Cry games it is going to be another Open-world.
The latest addition could be flying planes around, getting into a dogfights. Hiring people to help you in your cause and hunt wild beasts. You will have a range of vehicle and wide assortment of weapons.
The True You
The game will allow for this first in Far Cry 5, character customization, which means playing as a male or female character in the game.
Furthermore, Just like previous games Far Cry 3, 4 and Far Cry Primal, the game has been developed by Ubisoft Montreal.
The game will be available on PS4, Xbox One and PC with free bonus content available exclusively to PS4 version.
