Michelle Pfeiffer will play original Wasp Janet van Dyne, on the other hand Fishburne will portray Bill Foster, the comic book hero Giant-Man.
Marvel Studios is always bring some exciting news and announcements whenever they took stage at Comic-Con, and just like previous years this year again they revealed trailer of Thor: Ragnarok.
Marvel Studios were back again with some exciting news about the upcoming sequel Ant-Man and The Wasp. As the President Kevin Feige announced the news about several casting additions and the standout news from that was that both Michelle Pfeiffer and Laurence Fishburne will be joining the cast of Ant-Man and The Wasp.
Pfeiffer will be playing the character of Janet Van Dyne, the wife of inventor Hank Pym which was played by Michael Doulas in the first Ant-Man movie. The character of The Wasp and an important one to Marvel Universe, as we saw some glimpse of her in the first film back in 2015. However, The Wasp is even more essential part in comic world as she is one of the founding members of The Avengers themselves. Similarly, Pfeiffer herself is no stranger to comic movies as the famously played Catwoman and Selina Kyle in Tim Burton’s Batman Returns.
Fishburne will be taking on the role of Dr. Bill Foster along with the role of Black Goliath. Just like Pym, Foster is also a scientist and they both worked together. Just like Ant-Man he is also a size changing character, he is also able to manipulate his size and mass.
The movie will also feature a character called Ghost, The Ghost is a relatively obscure Marvel villain who fits into the setup of the Ant-Man.
