Jurassic World took the box office by storm when it earned around $1.6 billion, considering these taking the sequel was guarantee, after all who doesn’t want to see Rexy and Raptor Blue.
The sequel is now officially titled Jurassic World: Lost Kingdom. The exciting thing about the Jurassic World is that along with Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas-Howard retaining their role will also see the Jeff Goldblum’s highly-anticipated return to the franchise.
It’s fair to say that the announcement of Jeff Goldblum’s return sparked the interest in Jurassic World: Lost Kingdom. After all he was the main success of previous Jurassic Park movies.
That being said fans will also see the return of their favorite dinos, and Dilophosaurus Rexy the T-Rex (of Spielberg’s original). I had to admit being a huge fan of Jurassic Park’s movies and watching them since the release of first movie I am excited for the return of T-Rex, the new fans will experience something old in this new squeal.
One thing we are for sure that the idea of opening a new theme park is not going to placed again, instead we might see something different this time around.
New director Trevorrow gave an interview to Jurassic Outpost. he talked about the new story line as
“I don’t think that bigger, better dinosaurs or bigger, more epic-in-scope action sequences are what people are necessarily looking for from this franchise and what they love about it.
It will be more suspenseful and scary. It’s just the way it’s designed; it’s the way the story plays out. I knew I wanted Bayona to direct it long before anyone ever heard that was a possibility, so the whole thing was just built around his skill set.”
The movie is set for June 2018 release and being as fan of the old ones I cannot wait for this one either and I am also hopeful that it will not disappoint considering how awful sequence are once the first one is hit.
