Evangeline Lilly Tweeted from the set of Ant-Man and the Wasp, to celebrate the late comic book artist Jack Kirby’s 100th birthday.
The actress shared the first photo of herself in the Wasp costume, in the opposite role to Paul Rudd, who plays the lead role of Ant-Man in the upcoming Ant-Man and the Wasp.

Kirby was the co-creator of the character Janet Van Dyne (the original Wasp in Comic) along with comic book legend Stan Lee back in 1963. The actress play Hope, the daughter of Janet and Pym ( the original Ant-Man), her character was actually created by writer Tom DeFalco and artist Ron Frenz in 1999.
The actress has paid tribute to the great Jack Kirby in her tweet mentioning about how honored she is to be playing The Wasp.
The Wasp suit was first shown at the end of 2015’s Ant-Man, and at San Diego Comic-Con Marvel confirmed that the upcoming movie will include the original Wasp Janet Van Dyne played by Michelle Pfeiffer.
Ant-Man and the Wasp film is set to open July 6, 2018, two months after the bow of Avengers: Infinity War.
