Fan favorite Quicksilver from X-Men: Days of Future Past and X-Men: First Class, is returning to X-Men: Dark Phoenix, After putting two amazing scenes in previous X-Men movies. Reports has confirmed that Evan Peters will be back as Quicksilver in the upcoming X-Men Dark Phoenix movie.
Evan’s slow motion sequence was an instant fan favorite in previous X-Men installment. And according to THR reports Quicksilver was not originally a part of the upcoming X-Men: Dark Phoenix comic book saga, and many have thought that he will be sit this out but because of Quicksilver being a fan favorite and having a lot of praise from them, he was eventually being written into Simon Kinberg’s new flick.
Despite his return we are not sure what Quicksilver’s role is going to be. Also along with him Lamar Johnson, one of the stars of the BAFTA Award-winning Canadian show The Next Step is going to join him in Dark Phoenix.
The new X-Men: Dark Phoenix is going to bring back some of the main names from X-Men: Days of Future Past and X-Men: First Class, that includes the like of Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Nicholas Hoult , younger actors Sophie Turner, Alexandra Shipp, Tye Sheridan and Kodi Smit-McPhee. Role of Johnson’s character has been kept under wraps.
Simon Kinberg will be reprising his role as director for Dark Phoenix as he has been a producer and writer on many of the previous X-movies.
The film due out in November 2018.
