Chris Martin left fans into tears as when he paid tribute to the late Linkin Park vocalist Chester Bennington.

Chris took the piano to perform a moving cover of Linkin Park’s famous song ‘Crawling’ from their album Hybrid Theory on the Coldplay’s first night of their North American tour in New Jersey.

On Stage Chris said that the song is to dedicated to “anyone who’s missing someone”, however the singer messed up the ending of the song, he started again telling fans he wanted to get it right in the first place and it would probably end up on YouTube.

The Linkin Park singer Chester 41-years-old was found dead at his home last month by tragically hanging himself in his bedroom.

Some of the fans were really moved the emotional tribute paid by Chris, they took their emotions to social media.

“Coldplay’s tribute to Chester has made me a very happy and sad man,” said one.

Another said: “Chills. What a beautiful tribute”

Chester’s funeral held in a private ceremony in California on Saturday, with fans from around the world sending their tribute to the late vocalist.
